The film was shot in Austria. Two other versions were made simultaneously, one German (Das Lied einer Nacht) and one English (Tell Me Tonight), both with – as in the French version – Jan Kiepura and Magda Schneider in the main roles Opera singer Enrico Ferraro escapes from his manager and too many engagements changing trains for the Riviera. He makes a friend and stops at a village for some well deserved holidays, where he meets a beautiful girl. More on Wikipedia
