Heavy Traffic (1973)

Heavy Traffic is a 1973 American adult animated comedy-drama film. The film, which begins, ends, and occasionally combines with live-action, explores the often surreal fantasies of a young New York cartoonist named Michael Corleone, using pinball imagery as a metaphor for inner-city life. Ralph Bakshi (1938) is a sometimes controversial award-winning animator, known for Fritz the Cat (1972), Heavy Traffic (1973), Coonskin (1975), Wizards (1977), The Lord of the Rings (1978), Fire and Ice (1983), and Cool World (1992). He directed the fondly-remembered animated Spider-Man television series of 1968-1970. More on Wikipedia
