The title literally translates as “Back Stage,” and it is on the most basic level a love story between an icily beautiful concert pianist (Elisa Cegani) and a baritone singer (Filippo Romito). Called to perform at the Scala, a young baritone begins a transatlantic romance with a famous pianist.
